Pours a hazy, medium amber coloration that turns bright orange when backlit, with a medium, fizzy head. Smell is very bright and hoppy, with notes of citrus fruit: grapefruit, tangerine and perhaps a hint of lime. Taste follows the nose, being very hop-forward with very little malt presence detectable. Quite juicy and slightly zesty citrus notes of mainly grapefruit, with hints of tangerine and lime. Finishes with a medium bitterness and a certain citrus zestyness in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. While this has quite a rich taste for the 6.5% ABV almost on par with a DIPA, the flavour profile is not that interesting, considering this is supoosed to be an experimental IPA. Fairly standard, juicy citrus NEIPA flavour profile, although without the also fairly typical tropical note. Honestly, there might be a hint of mango there, but the citrus clearly dominates.
