Fulcrum was brewed soft with a base of white wheat and oats. We added Citra and Sabro in the whirlpool and dry hopped it with Citra, Nelson, and Sabro. Fulcrum pours a beautiful vivid yellow. As soon as you crack it open bright notes of grass and citrus permeate. Flavors of passionfruit, cannabis, white wine grapes, and coconut meld together beautifully with each sip. The buildup of dank fruit counters with a light and balanced bitterness and our #EQjuice finish, offering a fulcrum for a beer with such unique and powerful flavor.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a murky medium gold with a frothy off-white head. Great lacing! Initial impression is citrus, grapes, lemon, pine, grapefruit, dank and weedy. Mouthfeel isn't quite as soft as I expected, but plenty good enough. Finish fades to a slightly dank citrus-pine sweetness. This stuff is pretty damn expensive (I bought a 4-pack for $22) - there are equal or better products out there at a much more reasonable price point. HOWEVER, I'd probably buy another 4-pack if I had the chance.

Looks hazy yellow-orange with a silky white head. Plenty of lacing.
Nose is full of citrus and field/ outdoor notes.
Lemon, pine and passion fruit make up this dank brew’s flavor. A fairly complex profile.
Feels thick and silky.
I’d give this a lower overall rating, but I know there’s lots of good stuff here even though I don’t like this style much. I didn’t know it’d be a “hazy” style DIPA and was hoping it was a “regular” effort (should I have read about the geography of the brewery? I sold myself on the front label). In other words I bought the 4-pack without much background, and it WAS pricey at $19.99. If you like big New England/ New York hazy IPAs that drink like a milkshake full of typical hazy IPA notes, this is for you.

I think I am out of equilibrium. I have an MA in Economics, so I know what that means. But more importantly, I am not liking the quality of this hazy IPA, unless it was supposed to be mostly flat and contaminated looking.

So it starts flat, yellow with complete cloudiness and some suspension. Dangerous looking. Skunky aroma is normal for the style. Big malty hop bomb still prevails in the taste but it is a little astingent on the finish. Lack of much carbonation is a bummer.

Not recommended. I've had a few Equilibriums, but this one was the worst. It was over-priced (especially with such poor quality).

Pours a murky golden straw color with a good amount of lacing. Smell is citrus and fruit. Taste has oranges, stone fruit , some mint vanilla and papaya. Mouth feel soft more sweet than dry , ABV well hidden .

Canned on: 02/01/22

A - Opaque dark orange gold color with sticky, dense bright white lacing.

S - Vibrant aroma that's full of juicy, dank citrus and passion fruit (and a little bit of lime rind).

T - Pithy dank citrus and passionfruit from start to finish along with some weedyness.

M - Big medium body that's pillowy soft and low on the carbonation. Coats the mouth with a healthy amount of hops that create a cotton-like sensation.

O - This is a nice sipper, pricey, butrock solid.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store that is just around the corner. The beer poured a hazy orangish with white head that fizzed alot...overprimed....unfortunately.....that eventually left some spotty lace. The scent had bright citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with Raspberry jam presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had HUGE carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
