A hawk of the Accipiter family graces the label of one of our biggest stouts to date. We took the largest amount of coconut ever and teamed up with Equilibrium Bonfire to bake Coconut Macaroons to add directly to this beer along with a healthy dose of Thai Bananas, and Cacao Nibs. Accipiter pours nighthawk black with a creamy tan head releasing aromas of bake-shop macaroons, fresh brownies, coconut, and decedent banana. Viscous and syrup like, this fudge base is kissed with sweet coconut flakes and balanced banana flavor letting your first sip evolve from swirls of fudge, nougat, vanilla, pulverized Mounds bar, and spoons of banana cream pie wrapped up in high gravity thick finish. A staff favorite, Accipiter is the product of collaboration and what comes from projects that get you excited.
Please enjoy this beer close to room temperature and drink fresh to take advantage of what these adjuncts have to offer.

Bottled September 2020. Poured at 58°. Reddish tan tight head leaves large island of micro dots and coconut flecks; poor cap retention; solid ring; spots of lace, lots of coconut flecks on swirl; no legs; black body with ruby edges. Nose is chocolate with a whiff of banana; no coconut. Entry is very sweet chocolate and overly ripe bananas; no coconut. Thick viscous adjuncty feel; heavy syrupy body; little to no carbonation; no warmth from 11% abv. Overall sadly past its prime; syrupy sweet chocolate dominates what little is left of the remaining adjuncts; cloying chocolate finish; undrinkable for even my beer sweet tooth.

bottle at share. Black pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is chocolaty and roasty, coconut. Taste brings in bananas and vanilla, going for a Bananas Foster vibe, sweet and gooey and oh so decadent.

Batch 2, December 2021. Pours sludgy with plenty of very slowly emerging head that looks like it would stick around for half an hour if I let it. Caramelized plantains, macaroon, green banana astringency, baked oatmeal, and cheap chocolate milk. Extremely thick and full-bodied, very lightly carbonated. Nice for dessert.

Deep dark brown opaque with mild head. Smell is roasted malts, chocolate and coconut. Taste is fantastic with heavy chocolate, moderate coconut, with the banana being very subtle, but balancing. Coconut fat floating on top. Mouthfeel is very thick and enjoyable. Overall, a great stout.

Opened at (58 (ish) degrees, then drank up until room temp.

Look- Accipter pours absolute motor oil black. As I poured no light came through at all. In the glass no light at all came through the beer at all. The head was very dark brown, the head also receded very quickly. The beer as had legs for days. lacing the glass very heavily. As I let the beer sit in the glass small pieces of coconut float to the top of the glass.

Smell- As soon as the bottle was opened you are hit with the smell of melted dark chocolate. In the glass you are treated to the sent of all the adjuncts first. The beer up fronts gives you aromas of thick rich fudge. As the beer warmed the banana became very prevalent. the coconut was much more dulled on the nose.

Taste- This beer coats the pallet with flavors of fresh coconut macaronis, and dark rich fudge. The banana is very prevalent on the back end of the pallet. No alcohol at all this is strictly a melted desert in a bottle.

Feel- This beer is thiccc. You have the want to chew this beer. It is jaw clenching sweet. The thickness in the mouthfeel of this beer is next level.

Overall- This in the hierarchy of Equilibrium stouts is a close second in the Non BA stouts is a close second to LADS in my opinion.
