Wouldn’t it be great if the clouds were giant fluffy marshmallow peanuts? We emulate such a landscape with Peanut Cloud. The idea for the label came from an original drone shot from high above Middletown taken at sunrise. We then asked local Illustrator, Julia Green, to add a fun touch based off the adjuncts.
We took our LADS base and conditioned it on Peanuts, Marshmallows, and a touch of lactose to create our latest treat. Pouring pitch black with a pillowy tan head, aromas of creamy Jiff waft up from your pour. Tasting notes are simple for this one, a luscious mouthfeel crossed with chocolate fudge, spoons of peanut butter, and liquid Fluff. This is beer is liquid Fluffernutter

Black body, modest tan head. Aroma: lots chocolate, peanut butter & marshmallows. Sweet. Flavors: lots of chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallows, vanilla, oak barrel flavors, roasted grains & alcohol. Luxuriously thick, not much carbonation but plenty of alcohol. Overall: I don’t like peanut butter but I do love this, it’s delicious.

Locally purchased
Pours an effervescent Chestnut with instantly disappearing tan head. No head retention or lacing, viscous
S: Rich chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla
T: Follows the nose, some dryness, a touch of caramel. A little booze once warm, peanuts as well. dryness, peanuts, chocolate & marshmallow as this beer warms up. Finishes dry with Marshmallow, cocoa & peanuts, a touch of shelll bitterness as well
MF: Medium/chewy body, reduced carbonation; warming
Purchased this around new years & wonder if the carbonation has tailed off due to age. Tons of flavor, great drinkability. This was easily the best of the 3 I bought from these guys at that time

500ml bottle. Label has the stamped date of '101722'.
Black colored body. Brief lasting tan head, but later there is a thin ring and some surface storm. Leaves behind a few scattered spots of lacing.
Aroma is lighter with the marshmallows, medium with the peanuts, and deeper with the fudge.
Taste is sweet from lactose and marshmallow, but darker deep with the chocolate fudge. Natural peanut flavor joins in the mix. Stays sweet and fudgy in the aftertaste, with lots of peanuts.
Thick mouth feel, with syrup (as in chocolate syrup). Very sweet on the molars. Supportive carbonation.
Sweetness is somewhat balanced by the earthy peanut flavor. Very sticky on the lips and tongue. Higher ABV% is completely hidden, except for the stomach warming. Dessert beer, and enjoy as the beer warms in the glass.

Equilibrium Peanut Cloud Imperial Stout, 11% ABV. Pours thick and black, with a nice 4+ finger medium-brown head that left solid foam lacing. Aroma is really strong peanuts, chocolate, and marshmallow, then they apparently double that. Taste follows, moderately sweet, equally bitter. Excellent creamy mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Smells like a hot fudge and peanutbutter sundae. Not too syrupy but thick enough to carry very deep flavors. Taste carries the ingredients perfectly: creamy peanutbutter, marshmallow, bound together with ribbons of fudge.

The nose is amazing. I smell rich chocolate and lots of peanuts (not peanut butter). I taste more chocolate than anything with maybe some slight peanut undertones. This is a great beer but for me this is a tad too sweet for me. Definitely couldn’t finish the whole bottle myself!

Some of these EQ brews are hit-or-miss. This one is mostly a hit. Pours like used motor oil with solid viscosity and density. The peanuts are very strong here, both on the nose and palate, and this is one of the best beers I've found at capturing that nuance. Marshmallow and vanilla are present too, the body is sticky and full, and the start-to-finish presence of peanut brittle is unmistakable. Fun brew.
