Collaboration with 3 Sons Brewing.
Even Caramel Sundaes is gettin' touched with our newest stout. We teamed up with our friends from Dania Beach to bring you an imperial stout conditioned on Caramel, Almonds, Madagascar Vanilla, and Marshmallow. Pitch black with a beautiful caramel color head, this beer literally smells like an old school ice cream shop. Flavors of rich caramel swirl fudge bars and melted vanilla cream meet toasted almond bars and scoops of marshmallow fluff. Every adjunct hits before melding together into a viscous liquid caramel sundae that scoops our memories right back to the ice cream truck.

500ml bottle. I read etching on bottle as '12234B120839'.
Black colored body, no back lit edge. Brief lasting tan head, with a result of a minor surface storm and very thin ring. Leaves behind a film and a scattering of small lacing spots.
Aroma of dark roasted chocolate malts, almonds, and sweetness from vanilla and marshmallow.
Taste is dark roasted malts, with flavors of milk chocolate, caramel, almond, sweet vanilla, and gooey marshmallow. It's sweet but not overly so. Mellows back to roasted malts and milk chocolate in the aftertaste.
Thick mouth feel, with slight stickiness, but also with a dry finish. Higher ABV% is very well hidden; mostly presents in the nose. Supportive carbonation.
Extremely malty (remindful of a malted milk shake) and full of flavor - caramel, chocolate, and a sweet mix of vanilla and marshmallow. Quaff or sip - it's a question to ponder as this is imbibed.

Not too into stouts, but this sounded too good to pass up. Mainly got caramel, too sweet honestly and very thin.

Poured with no head, but a nice thick solid dark motor oil color. No smell to speak of. Taste was overly caramelly, but not in a good way. All the other variants were muted, and it even seemed to be thin for an Equilibrium stout, but that's relative. A big step down for EQ IMO.

Decent head production, all things considered. Nearly 20 minutes after pouring, there is still a noticeable dark brown ring around the edge of the glass. No noticeable floaties despite all of the additives.
Impressively sweet on the nose, in particular with notes of caramel, marshmallow, and vanilla. It smells like caramel candy. Additional notes include toast, molasses, brown sugar, red grape, and coffee, but these are very much part of the tide beneath the breaking waves of caramel, which steal the show.
Super thick and chewy, as expected. A bit of alcohol heat, but hardly unpleasant. Low bitterness; it's very much a modern pastry stout, with little to remind you of its forebears in the RIS or American style, with the rich malt base providing more of a palate for the dessert flavors.
Tasting notes include brown sugar, vanilla, caramel, toffee, chocolate, espresso, marshmallow, a touch of honeycomb. Long almost chewy caramel finish, along with just a bit of toasty, leathery, leafy bitterness.
This beer is exactly as advertised, and as such, it's an absolute home run. This is not a style for everyone, however, and at around $20, you'd better know what you're in for before hand.

Wife gone. Drink heavily. 500ML 11%. Good start.
You know how wanna-be geeks describe beer as pouring like “motor oil”? Only someone who’s never poured oil into an engine would say that; oil doesn’t pour like any beer. Except perhaps this one. I swear it’s defying the physics of beer. Supremely thick. With a dark mocha head thicker & more densely bubbled than any I’ve seen. One of the few impressive heads in the world, perhaps. The nose is lovely. Caramel, chocolate, sundae indeed.
Even Caramel Sundaes is fantastic. This is what additives should taste like in a stout! Huge hit of caramel up front backed by vanilla, decadent maltiness, with only a hint of nuts. The marshmallow tastes like it’s been melted right in, providing not only flavor but thickness as well. Thick doesn’t being to cover it. I could easily take another 500ML of this, right now.
I’ve suffered through a series of stouts over the past couple of months that described themselves as such-and-such & turned out to be a dull waste of those purported ingredients. Thanks to this lovely brew for delivering! Fantastic beer that’s almost as good as a gentle nipple suckle.
