Astrophysics pours a vibrant milky yellow with heavy aromas of starfruit, passionfruit, tangerine Pez, and dank hops. Flavors of sweet orange flesh, passionfruit juice, cantaloupe, and gummy peach rings transition to notes of berry and yuzu before a Big Bang of our #EQjuice rainbow melon finish. This beer is very soft, round, and full the pallet.

Pours a hazy golden color with a large head. Smell is citrus & crackers and a hint of sweetness. Taste is tropical citrus with almost no hop bite, very smooth. Easy drinking and flavorful. Have had almost a year, no date on can.

L-Pours a one and a quarter headed beer with a nice straw-orange colored heavily hazed body. Not much carbonation is visible.
S-The smell is immediate malty sugar with an orange tootsie pop finish. Notes of passionfruit, cantaloupe, and starfruit are there. A green piney hop, and a powdery sugariness in the finish. Some earthiness.
T- A nice mix of malty sugar, orange, cantaloupe and peach. Hints of tropical fruit punch as well. Vanilla might be in the mix. The bitter finish with the citrus gives a grapefruit vibe.
F-Medium bodied with a slight bit of punchy carbonation on the tongue.
O-A really fine IPA. Nice malty notes mixed with some solid tropical fruit. This beer may have leaned a little too hard on the malt, but I did enjoy it enough.

Pours a very hazy gold with 2 fingers of fluffy cream-colored head. Stellar head retention & lacing
S: Green melon & citrus, a touch of peach once warm
T: Pomelo, lime zest, Kaffir leaves, dryness & a little white grape up front. Bitter oranges, limes & dryness as this beer warms. Finishes dry, juicy & pretty bitter, just a kiss of green melon fighting back
MF: Medium body, fairly lively carbonation. Carbonation smooths out as this beer warms up, okay balance, more sweetness would've helped
Drinks pretty easy, but a little single tracked flavor wise, glad I just bought a single

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated 04/12 and served barely chilled.
Pours a turbid yellow-orange colour, with three fingers of soapy, foamy white head exploding from the surface - may be a wee bit over-carbonated? It does leave behind a glorious coat of delicate, webby lace as it recedes, in addition to a fat, sudsy collar and lumpy, uneven cap. I'm smelling passion fruit, cantaloupe, orange and pineapple, with hints of mango, lemon zest and stone fruit.
It's a tasty pale ale: heavy on fruity hop flavours, but very low on bitterness. Notes of pineapple, melon and orange are easily discernible, supported by white bread and wheaty sweetness. Hints of peach and passion fruit too, finishing with lemon pith and floral, spicy hops; juicy stone fruit and pineapple continue briefly into the aftertaste. Medium-full in body, with moderate carbonation that adds some crispness; feels smooth and juicy on the palate, with excellent drinkability.
Final Grade: 4.08, an A-. For an imported hazy IPA brewed this past spring, this can of Astrophysics is holding up admirably. It was a rough start with all that foam, but once things got settled I found this to be an aromatic and deliciously juicy pale ale. I'll consider buying more, but $5 for a can of old IPA is a tough sell - let's just say that if a fresh shipment shows up at some point, I'll be all over that.

A-Medium yellow with an abundance of off white head as this can was over carbonated
S-Grass and vegetal notes of a beer gone too long on the shelf
M-Over-carbonated and spoiled unfortunately
T-Green grass and vegetables
O-Unfortunately this can was far gone. I read some other reviews and it might be delicious, but with no date stamp on the can I can only assume this was quite old and should not have been sold.

I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had mild dank fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with dank pineapple and mango presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for $4.95 CDN. No canning date.
Appearance - Very hazy dark golden / orange brew with yellow highlights. Multiple fingers of dense and fluffy white head are poured. Great retention and a very fine ring of curtain lacing remains.
Smell - Orange, melon and pineapple, nice tropical mix with some zestiness thrown into the nose too (I gather that may be yuzu)
Taste - Sweet and juicy. Lots of tropical flavors. Some orange, pineapple and melon with some lychee for good measure.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, with good expressive carbonation, a bit of a spicy / harsh oil sensation at the end which is counterbalanced by the sweetness throughout the beer.
Overall - Very good IPA, one of the best ones of recent memory that while juicy, doesn't go full juice and has some restraint and some notions to the old school west coast IPA with that harsh hop oil finish that sits on the tip of your tongue. Worth repeating again, Astrophysics is a very good IPA.

I bought 1 can at the LCBO in Ontario priced very high at 5 dollars a can .
Poured into glass with a 3 finger creamy head leaving a lace as you drink it.
An explosion of tropical fruit flavours Very tasty and smooth with a medium bitterness level.
Overall a very good beer at a high price.
Probably would not buy it again when other beers are priced lower and just as good .
Cheers

Pours very cloudy gold color with sediment floating around and a1-2 finger thick creamy white head that dissipated very, very slowly and left outstanding foamy rings coating the sides. Smells of tangerine, lemon zest, grapefruit, orange juice, biscuit, yeast, faint floral notes and mild spices like coriander. Tastes like grapefruit, bitter orange juice, tangerine, lemon, lime, faint pineapple, starfruit, piney notes, yeast, biscuit, peppery spices, dry flowers or dry floral hops, and chalky malt or powdered wheat as it fades on the dry side. Definitely not as dank and citrus dominant as a lot of the other IPA's that I've had from Equilibrium, but overall an enjoyable beer.
