Collaboration with Magnify Brewing Company
We hit the microscope and magnified our hopping rates in this intensely hopped DIPA. Starting off with a base of flaked oats and flaked wheat we added Galaxy and Simcoe to the whirlpool before a big dose of Simcoe, Strata, and Galaxy for the dry hop. Hazy yellow and vivid yellow in color, you’ll notice aromatic pops of pineapple, cannabis, citrus, and crushed berry before big flavors of papaya, mango, weed, lime and passionfruit exploding into a creamy, dank, and thick popsicle finish lined with our #?? #EQjuice finish.

Picked up a single can at Cedarville Wine and Spirits for about four dollars. My fifth brew from these guys. No canned on date that I could decipher. Good.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, paper thin white head. Big citrusy aroma with a big blast of grapefruit peel at the back. Taste starts, fruity, juicy, citrus, zesty grapefruit peel behind. Light tangy bitterness with a full creamy feel.

Huge Hoppy flavor with silky mouthfeel. Really great beer. Picked it up at a local six pack shop. $5.50 for a 16oz can canned on 11/07/2022. Could only imagine how much better it would be if fresher. Delicious beer would buy again.

can to tulip glass.
LOOK: dark yellow, small off white head. ok retention
AROMA: tropical fruit, palm, grass.
TASTE:
light grassy base with lots of tropical fruit. guava, pineapple, passion fruit, some ginger and maybe coconut. Very tasty.
FEEL: bordering on full body, thick, but a medium carbonation still shines through.
very nice with some depth.

16oz can dated 11/7/22.
Pours turbid yellow with an inch-plus head of white. Thick ropes of lacing with persistent retention. Pineapple and tangerine in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft but tacky mouthfeel. Pineapple meets orange on the palate with mango and grapefruit. Finishes juicy with minimal malt and pithy citrus.

From the label on the can: "AUG 09 21"
Appearance: The body is a beige-orange color and opaque. It has a large off-white cream-colored head with a rippled tapioca textured surface consisting of various bubble sizes. Good retention and lacing.
Aroma: It smells of candied orange peel and dried pineapple chunks. The aroma is nice but a bit muted. A light floral note hangs out in the background.
Taste: Sugar flavor comes to the front of the tongue, followed by a bit of peach and a hint of papaya. A light bit of white pepper hits the tongue towards the middle of the palate. There isn't much development of flavors past the middle of the tongue, with the exception of a light vegetal character that pops in from time to time at the end of the sips. The vegetal character becomes more apparent with each sip.
Mouthfeel: It rests on the upper edge of light bodied. Carbonation is good. Drinkability is about average.
Overall: The can states that this is "8.55% ALC./VOL." which is probably more points of precision than BA offers. The beer as a whole is pretty good but it also seems to lack direction. None of the flavors or aromas really pop out and take the stage on this beer. It is better than many of the average offerings on the market but it won't be making any splashes. It's not a beer I would probably buy again but if I were in a bar for a get-together I might end up buying it again. I wouldn't jump to recommend it but I wouldn't turn anyone away from it either. It has its merits; the aroma is pretty good and when you don't get hit with any vegetal flavor it tastes good. I would recommend a hearty palate cleanser like sourdough which would really help to reset this beer and showcase the more positive or wanted flavors.

Can dated 8/10/21 into pint glass. Pours a murky brownish gold with a persistent off white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is pineapple, mango, weed, and dank earthiness. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Finish is more citrus, fading to a weedy dankness. Overall, a very good but not outstanding DIPA.

Hazy golden orange color with a sudsy off-white head, there’s loads of dank citrus notes on the nose, with pineapple, mango, and tangerine most prominent.
There’s loads of dank flavors on the taste, again with pineapple, mango, and tangerine leading the way, and a definite weed component as well. Truly delicious stuff.
