Four Fours is based on the popular mathematical pastime that uses exactly four 4's to form every integer from 0 to 50 using only standard mathematical operators such as: +, −, ×, /, and, √. Getting everyone together to make one of our biggest collabs yet involved piecing together some of our favorite ingredients in new ways and we’re happy to report that both the math in the beer and on label check out.
We started with a heavy base of oats and wheat before the Idaho7, Citra, and Citra Incognito whirlpool. We then dry-hopped with 4 of our favorite hops at levels never seen before with Citra, Strata, Galaxy, and Zappa. Dense haze pours into your glass with aromas of tropical mango, orange tang, assorted berry, and grape drink. Hoppy saturated flavors of dank mango orange juice smoothie, papaya chunks, and green nerds candy are balanced by a hoppy bite and giant #EQjuice melon finish bringing you right to your next sip. The glass gets emptied quickly so we recommend you pause the puzzle solving while enjoying our latest banger!

Yellow, iridescent colour. White, high, fine-bubbled head with a long retention time, clinging intensely to the glass.
Strong, distinct aroma, sweet candy, hoppy and fruity (fruit bomb) with a hint of floral and forest notes.
The taste is delicately sweet with a stronger, medium-long, pine bitterness.
Medium plus carbonation. The texture is almost smooth. Full body. Long dry aftertaste.

16 oz. Can
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya), very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya), a nice little sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from the beer store located just around the corner from my house. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent has citrus fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base and dank pineapple and mango presence. Teh mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Hard to read the date exactly but I think it’s 10/30/24, or possibly 10/3/24.
Appearance: murky, thickly hazy dark-yellow hue with three fingers of frothy, pillowy ivory foam atop. Looks good to me.
Smell: sweet, bright, rich, juicy, and extremely enticing. I get tons of mango here, with some passionfruit, orange, and guava along for the ride. I love me a good tropical hazy, and this one is fantastic.
Taste: a lot earthier than the aroma, with more of a guava/papaya thing going on, and some hop burn in the mix. Not quite as jammin’ as the aroma, but I still quite like this.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer is really working for me, especially the aroma. Good stuff.

This is a big hazy from a brewer I usually like.
It pours grey gold - dirty, with fine bubbles. The aroma is a hazy ipa stench like no other. It reminds me of stinky cheese, which usually tastes good. This is no exception - it tastes a delicious bitter juicy. Unique, for sure.
Not recommended. It is a poor value and I think there are better Equilibriums (any I've had). The sample I had may not have been optimal - my dealer pawned it off as newer than it was.

Au contraire, I’m not the very effusive reviewer from this group reviewers.
I appreciate the collaborative brewing thinking invested in this beer.
Lots of interesting hops. Nice pour- golden color with a 4F head.
Colder- a bit dank. With warming, a large array of fruits- hard to define- spicy fruit?
MF is a moderate body.
The taste, as it warms up is a very spicy fruit combo.
Did I enjoy drinking the beer? No. It’s not balanced. The flavor goes in too many directions. I prefer an evenly flavored DIPA one with balance. Perhaps the recipe is overthought?
Balance is the name of the game in beer, and in life. Too many flavor directions for me.

Canned 10/3/23. Pours dark orange, healthy frothy head and lacing. Scents of mango, orange juice, and papaya. Taste is similar - zesty, tangy, juicy, and fruity. Bit of a dank and oniony aftertaste. Lighter to medium bodied, slightly dry finish, pleasant boozy presence.
