Pours a bit of a gusher, hazed gold with mountains of eggshell colored head. Great head retention & better lacing
S: Citrus, green melon, grainy notes once warm, millet & oats
T: Tangerine, white grape, a little dryness & grassy notes up front. Some oaty/grainy notes, lime, white grapes & apricot once this beer warms up, fairly dry. Finishes with pomelo bitterness, some white grape & traces of peach & apricot
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, a bit gritty
Decent drinkability, but nothing really stands out. I need for some flavor to take me for a ride with this style & this is more of a mindless ramble

not sure how fresh this can is, but there is still a lot to like about this, really pale. creamy and frothy feeling while also being light, great carbonation and head, almost a can conditioned or even belgian spirit to it with the texture, nice hop profile although fading for sure, not nearly as thick and dense as a lot of their hoppy beers have been in my experience, super cool label art. blonde pale yellow brew with light haze an a few floaters, not sloppy, and holding its inch of frothed white head the whole drink. the nose is grass and almost noble when its cold but it opens quickly to coconut, key lime, lemon, lemongrass, and white peach, juicy but dry, wheaty and earthy on the grain side, soft feeling, inviting, lightly oxidized which pushes up a little bitterness that might not have been there when this was fresher, but its distinctive and appealing overall, citra, strata, and galaxy, with all three doing their thing pretty apparently. the flavor is good, herbal as much as it is fruity, although lime is still predominant, lemon thyme, mowed lawn, preserved lemon, honeydew melon at peak ripeness, but not sweet somehow at all, quick for the style, with some bitterness present but it doesnt linger, soft from the oats and wheat, creamy even, very excited carbonation, light pine and hay and minerality as it warms, refreshing for the style when its colder, cleaner than it kind of looks with a few chunks in it, maybe a product of its apparent age, but i dug this, unique enough on the hop side to stand out and the mouthfeel is awesome. really solid, hope to try it super fresh next time! this stuff comes hit or miss in that regard out west...

Equilibrium Brewery
IPA - American
A very nice mix of sub tropical hop fruitiness, tart grasses, earthy citrus, and a fresh but creamy feel and finish. Tangy bright cantaloupe, white grapes, and those highly enjoyable adjuncts to the malt bill: Flaked Oats and Wheat. They add so much.

16oz can. Poured out a hazy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, mango, orange and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

01/25/23 stamped clearly on label. Poured into a 25th anniversary BA teku — hell yeah!!
A: Hazy gold hue, with two finger, white, frothy head with good retention and persistent bands of lacing.
S: Sweet melon, orange, and guava hop aromas with moderate intensity esters that are fruity. There is a light, herbal hop note and there is more berry impression on retronasal.
T: Flavor is on the sweet side with honeydew melon, red, grapefruit, guava, orange, and lime. Mop backbone is solid, but adds little to no flavor. Esters are much softer on flavor with continued fruitiness. Bitterness is low. Alcohol is not detectable.
M: Very smooth with medium body without feeling chalky. Very good representation of the NEIPA feel.
O: Chaos Theory is an excellent example of the smaller ABV NEIPA presentation.
