Released 8/4/23; drank 3/4/24 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy dark tan head; strong tree-rung lacing remained.
Fresh earth, blackberry & faint cream notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Mild flavors of cream, blackberry & fresh earth. Muted but enjoyable.

Pours pitch black with a creamy tan head. Roasty malt aroma with subtle vanilla and cocoa. Very pleasant dark chocolate and vanilla with that porter “tang”. Velvety smooth mouthfeel. A fabulous variation of the world class Möbius porter!

A 1 pint can, with no canned on or best before date. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: Dark brown in colour with a half finger brown head that had pretty good retention and left nice spotty lacing.
Aroma: Roasty, black coffee, chocolate, with some caramel and vanilla sweetness.
Taste: Light roast, chocolate, coffee, light to moderate sweetness, caramel, and vanilla.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium bodied, with soft carbonation.
Overall: It’s essentially what you’d expect from a Porter with vanilla. Solid and enjoyable.

6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. This is a pretty standard vanilla porter - roasty, vanilla, hints of chocolate and coffee and not overly thick or boozy. Solid but not memorable.
