Billed as a "Rustic French Table Beer" in a distinguished black 22 ounce bottle, I believe something went wrong along the way. The first clue was the white specs that appeared on the bottle top. Then they appeared in the glass, floating to the top of a pretty pale (that was also clear.) Then without foam, it tasted flat with a few off-flavours. I can only conclude I got a bad bottle.
Hence I should not review this... particularly since I like Gilman a lot; particularly their future as a top saison house. I suppose I should call them and report this bottle. I think I will.
