Collaboration with Bricksworth Beer Company
Our crusty buds Bricksworth Beer Co. just started slanging steel pan pizzas down in Burnsville. Wanting to wish them Mazel Tov the best way we know how, we decided to get ignorant with some of our collective favorite shredders: Strata, Sabro Cryo & Idaho 7 cryo all the way to the edges and then some. Eat Up.

Got a pretty sweet haul from Sam. I asked for some BlackStack and Drekker (I’m surprised I forgot about Fair State), but was psyched to see two TIPAs. Back of the can read, “Our crusty buds Bricksworth Beer Co. just started slanging steel pan pizzas down in Burnsville. Poured a medium yellow-to-light gold hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Decent spotty watery lacing. Decent retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled just great from the beginning. Got all three mentioned in order Sabro, Idaho 7 and Strata. Woody aromatic and menthol on the hop spectrum. Also coconut, vanilla, herbal, cedar, dank pine, mixed berry, passion fruit and caramel malt. Just as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted just almost as good as the nose. In order got Sabro, followed by Idaho 7 and Strata. Also cedar wood, menthol, herbal, coconut, vanilla, dank pine, passion fruit, mixed berry, lingering peppery spice and hints of caramel malt. Definitely boozy, but did not taste 10.8 pct. ABV boozy. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.50)
I know this was a collab with Bricksworth, but just another terrific offering from BlackStack. World-class. (Overall - 4.50)

16oz can served in a big snifter. Don't see a date on it. Bought it from Tavour.
Pours a pale orange-yellow, hazy, with a small head and not much carbonation. Smell is pithy, boozy, a little creamy, plenty of citrus.
Taste is WHAM -- tropical juice out the wazoo, orange julius, creamy, still has the booze but drowned out by the juicy notes. Something kind of vanilla-y about it, too.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth, wish it was a little more carbonated. Overall, very tasty beer.

A Tavour treat. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is slightly citrus. Taste is citrus with a fair amount of hoppy bitterness.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge, lots of lacing down the sides, and some small patches of bubbles on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melon and mangos are present in the nose along with hints of grapefruit.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of stone fruit. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and faintly juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this IPA to be very drinkable considering its strength - it drinks more like a regular IPA and not a Triple IPA or even a Double IPA.

Note: this is a collaboration with new sibling brewery Bricksworth, which also makes very good beer.
This triple IPA is very hazy, with citrusy, tropical notes. Not boozy like some triples. Velvety mouthfeel; another winner from these two excellent breweries.

Can. White head with lace. Hazy golden orange sunset.
Mango, melon, cantaloupe, papaya. Soft, juicy, tropical. Hops to show it’s an ipa, but not bitter. Very juicy. Well done. Can’t tell it’s a triple.
