A beer for those moments that catch your Wonder where ever you may be. A classic inspired saison, tart and crisp with a hint of far away places. Dry hopped with Hallertaur Blanc for that little extra zip!

2026 batch update: they've tweaked the recipe, lowered the ABV from 6.7% to 5.5%, and the taste is even better now. It's not as peppery and almost is more like a golden ale.

This is their current saison, and it's pretty good. The hop blend gave it a little different flavor, though you still get the peppery aftertaste, but it almost tasted more like a Belgian white ale to me. It's 6.7%, so a bit high for a saison, but not bad. Maybe if it was a touch more balanced I'd go a bit higher on the rating.

Bought 2 from Beer Drop, canned 10/11 (BitterBill is on my cloud.) My third from Woods Boss. they are very accomplished for a 4 year old. Good in the Belgian styles, but I have not had a "WOW" yet. Walking was a decent table ale with pasta and a spicy red sauce and not much else for dinner. So, Walking In Wonder did its job, but it was not an experience I'll remember two decades from now.

While Beer Drop has become my primary source of Belgian-inspireds that are not brewed/distributed in Chicago, Walking In Wonder suffers my common comment: the yeast is not lively enough. Looks could be quite attractive with an active yeast, but Walking has average Looks. Smells are fruitier, but not complex. Tastes are slightly more complexed, but still not as complex as the masters. And the finish is long, more reminiscent of a pils. But Walking makes my mouth fuller with a nice winey touch. Walking in Wonder can work on most these features with a more active yeast. But as I said, it made an average meal tolerable. Walking just needs to make any meal better to be a good saison in my book. A votre Sante' !

From Beer Drop. Canned October 11th 2021.

Pours a hazy straw yellow with a good head of foam that has some staying power.

Smells of coriander, yeast, cloves, light hints of tartness and bitterness.

Big yeasty notes taste with general Belgian flavours of coriander, cloves, yeasty, light tartness, even lighter bitterness.

Lower end of medium bodied, this is a pretty nice Saison.
