This beer was created using 10 different varietals of organic plums and pluots picked and processed throughout the 2021 harvest. All of the fruit was grown by the Collins family at their orchards in Selah, Washington.

These plums and pluots were blended across varietals in order to showcase the character of the land and work at Collins Family Orchards. The fruit was refermented with a blend of spelt, wheat, and einkorn saison chosen to highlight the varietals and then refermented to condition with organic cane sugar.

Pours the colour of watermelon meat. Good finger+ of white head with a pink tinge to the top bubbles.

Nose is immediate bursting forth as soon as I start pouring. Sweet pulpy stone fruits... lots of sweet plum in particular. Rich and juicy this is very very fruit forward.

The flavour carries a lot of fruit character as well, and the tart that accompanies a stone fruit skin is a perfect bridge to the saison underneath. Very refreshing and drinkable, especially on a sunny afternoon. There's some of that horseblanket/barnyard funk laying underneath, and the tartness is more complimentary than defining.

Bright sharp carbonation helps to cut through some of the sweet and the funk alike. Quite drinkable and enjoyable.

This is another winner.
