Part of my flight at Barley & Bine, I saved this lager for lunch. Suitable with the flatbread, though it didn't add much to the pizza which already was quite good.
Hold My Beer Looks average, foam had some staying power but could have more. Smells mostly of malt, a little grass/herbal freshness in the back of my nose. Tastes were balanced, which is key for a lunch lager to let the good food standout. Bubbly enough to cleanse the palate for more food, almost medium-mouthed.
My first from Del Cielo, I went on their thoughtful website. For this food-friendly lunch lager and having a diverse food menu in its two taprooms and doing all the good guy community stuff and being 7 years old with a healthy future, Del Cielo earns very good Overall Hugs for the next stage of evolving this husband & wife team to its next business level.
