Sampled at the Petaluma River Craft Beer Festival. My first from Old Possum, I went on their website and saw their food menu that was BBQ heavy. I see how La Rosita fits that kitchen and lets the food do the talking. Old Possum could upgrade their website, but I still give them very good Overall Hugs for their trying to bring BBQ to the level of a gastropub.
La Rosita Looks average, not much foam that lasts. Smells are mostly malt with a few herbs/hops coming in late. Tastes are mostly sweet and balanced, again letting the food work. There is a slight semi-dry finish. Almost medium-mouthed in a light style.
