A crisp, easy drinking lager made with locally grown corn. Perfect for outside on a hot day at the beach. We like to drink this lager naked... or with a lime if you must.

Not quite sure if this is 10 Torr (which it reads on the front of the can) or Whipple Brewing & Distilling (which it reads on the back). Either way it’s a Mexican Style Lager and it had me at Mexican. Can description read, “A crisp, easy drinking lager made with locally grown corn. Perfect for outside on a hot day at the beach. We like to drink this lager naked... or with a lime if you must.” And no to the lime.

Poured a clear straw color with 3-to-4 fingers of white rocky head. Lots of fast-moving bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Smelled corn cereal, white cracker, white bread, grass and sugary sweet grain. Nothing more added from the can. Had me looking forward to the taste. (Smell - 4.00)

Wow, interesting taste. Not as good as the nose, but interesting. Almost leaning more toward American Adjunct Lager, which is pretty close to American Pale Lager for me anyway. Very sweet. Sugary sweet grain, corn cereal milk, grass and white bread. Grew on me as it went down, but that sweetness I just could not just get over. (Taste - 3.50)

Light body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, sweet finish. (Feel - 3.50)

Besides the sweetness, this was a really good Mexican Style Lager. The look was incredible. (Overall - 3.75)
