There is a lot to like in this saison's simplicity.
Looks are above average (nice foam, but it could last or swirl.) But Smells are right: fruity, earthy, mildly spicy. Tastes comes in the same, but I'm relieved that it finishes semi-dry and not mega-tart as is the trend these days. In my mouth, refreshing, cleansing and making me ready for another bite. My only suggestion -- and it is tough one to expect from a very young brewer -- is that the yeast needs to produce a fuller foam and fruitier aromas... hard to do, but it is what makes Belgian brews distinct.
With those improvements, Campesino is how saisons should be made. An accompaniment to many foods, this is a good table ale. And I'd like to try Campesino with a variety of foods.
I went on the website of Casa Humilde and brewing, art and culture certainly are their passions. But unlike many micros struck by the pandemic, I saw no special notice of curbside delivery. I was impressed by their large number of outlets in Chicagoland after less than a year brewing. I bought this at Beermiscuous and will look for more Humilde there. !Buen Suerte!
8/28/21 Over a year later, bought another from Beermiscuous and Campesino seemed improved. So I edited the above and increased the rating. Had this can with my ratatouille and a salad; pairing summer fare with a summer saison. I will continue to have Campesino and keep count over at UnTappd.

Pale gold, a finger of foam recedes to a thin collar, some drippy lacing.
Aroma is light but a touch sulfuric, earthy saison yeast and light floral hop.
Light and lean, easily drinkable. Mild floral hop, pale malt, peppery yeast.
Clean and crisp, simple but refreshing. Thankfully not overly phenolic like many American saisons.
