Clear pinkish orange body with a bubble ring. Big hibiscus and lime in the nose as promised. Taste has these starring flavors large as well with a gentle kiss of sourness, mild yeast round out. Simple but good and refreshing. Light bodied, somewhat thin, very smooth and sneaky crisp. Great on a hot day!

Bought this 16 ounce can from Beermiscuous. We can argue about the styling I selected, but it is light and it is drier than fruit beers. Untapped with 110 check-ins claims it has 50 IBUs. No evidence of that much bitter on my sensitive palate. No IBU writeup on Humilde's website or can... although the can pays a nice written homage to the heroine.
That said, Viva La Frida delights the palate and the heart. A brilliant rose' in the sun. Smells are mostly lime (could be more subtle in the Taste as well.) The lime-tart finish lingers. Refreshing on a hot day. I drank this next to a pad that also had lime and it improved the dish. I will look for Frida again.
This is a collaboration with Brewseum and the Mexican-American Museum in Chicago's Little Village. Because Humilde is so dedicated to the Mexican culture and so thoughtfully honors its 20th Century heroine, I feel guilty about not visiting the Brewyards. But, I'm going by more often on my bike. So I'm getting closer ! ! Prometo!
