Foeder fermented DIPA brewed with a blend of floor malted bohemian pilsner and extra hell pilsner base malts, white wheat, and flaked oats. Hopped in the kettle with Citra and Cascade. Then double dry hopped with cashmere and Citra.
We are tasting orange creamsicle laced with candied grapefruit, ripe strawberries, and soft oak.

A: Pours a milky murky pale to medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + lemon yellow + peach + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a four finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering approximately 75% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit zest + tropical/papaya + pine/resin + herbal + spicy hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. Light hints of oak.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of oak. Finally there are moderate to strong flavors of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit zest + tropical/papaya + pine/resin + herbal + spicy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly leaving lingering oak + citrus + herbal hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Creamy with a moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a super creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with an interesting combination of hop flavors and aromas - interesting because it drinks like a very solid NE IPA but lacks the juiciness in the hop profile.

16oz can served in a stemmed cylindrical glass. No date on the can that I can see. Don't remember where I bought it for sure -- might have been Good Beer NYC. Shipped home in a box.
Pours hazy pale whitish-amber with a couple fingers of head that shrinks down to about a centimeter of rocky dense head with clumpy chunky lacing all up the side of the glass. Smell is pine resin, grapefruit zest. Something herbal or spicy about this.
Taste is overripe tropical fruit with a little bit of that herbal/spicy note and (unfortunately) a lot of the pine resin and grapefruit zest is missing (and I think it would do some good). Might be some very ripe melon flavors as well.
Mouthfeel is velvet, smooth and fluffy, very pleasing. Overall, this is a very nice beer.
