Released 11/12/21; drank 3/18/22 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy yellow/orange appearance.

An even pour yielded a big, noisy white head; strong, frothy lace.

Banana, clove & faint mint notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Banana, clove, orange citrus & faint mint flavors.

Effervescent & enjoyable; I'd have another!!

Very impressive BPA from an 18 month old who specializes in IPAs !
Bought from Beermiscuous Lincoln Park and glad they figured out how to get this micro into the Midwest. I will buy more.
Bottom-line: Not many BPAs can supplant farmhouse ales at my table, but Reality comes close.
The only improvement I can suggest for my table is to minimize the bitterness by blending more aromatic hops in.
Otherwise, the two February reviews ahead of me got it right: Reality is an exceptional effort.

As for my micro-review of Fast Fashion... This is an highly artistic can. Fast Fashion also seems to be to me to be Seattle on Steroids: hoppy flavors, artistic flair and American entrepreneurialism. For all that, I give them Great OA Hugs.

5/14 Probably from The Beer Temple, I found a second can, edited the above review and stuck with my rating... and would like to find more Reality so I can keep count over @ UnTappd.

Pours a mostly clear brilliant gold color. Thick, frothy white head forms on the beer, dissipates partially, but never completely. A thin residual head remains on the beer. The second pour from the can carried with it more sediment and was much closer to opaque thanks to the sediment. Aroma has notes of belgian yeast, light peppery notes, floral hops, some green notes with a touch of spicy, dried grassy notes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of pilsner malt, a strong belgian yeast character that has some zesty, lemon notes with a distinct floral quality. Some pepper and spicy notes come through along with dried grass and dried hop notes on the back end. There is a subtle sweetness to the beer. Feel is medium bodied, smooth, zesty. Lively carbonation. Dry finish.

Overall this is a lovely beer and a joy to drink.

16oz tall boy can.

Has no canning date.

Appearance: Warning... do not hard pour this beer into your beer glass. It's got a lot of rapidly expanding foam! Pale straw yellow bodied beer with massive bone white head. Fantastic staying power. When the head finally does recede you get sticky lacing everywhere.

Smell: bready and lightly sweet malt notes. Hint of wild flower honey. Fruity estery yeast. Mild citrus zest, floral, herbal, and earthy hops.

Taste: Fruity yeast forward beer; as it should be since its a a belgian pale ale. Hint of bready malt sweetness with a dab of honey. Finishes with zesty and low bitterness level of hops. Hints of white grapefruit zest, pears, honeydew melon, golden delicious apples, and oddly enough a distinct celery note(it's a fairly light flavor, but you can't miss it) in the finish.

Mouthfeel: light bodied beer with medium almost high level of carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Soft delicate texture.

Overall: I am a real fan of this Belgian Pale ale. It's very nice beer. Belgian beer makes you feel fancy when you drink it because its usually so nuanced and has such elegant texture. This beer is a really nice example of an American brewery doing a stand up job with this belgian style. I would sign up for more than a 4 pack of this beer.
