Nice fluffy pile of foam in the German Kölsch glass. Color is a rich yellow. Inviting aroma of green herbs and the Noble Hop note that is hard to define. Not perfumey, and there is more grain in the nose. Taste is cereal with a hint of bitter arugula and just a bit of citrus peel. Rather malty in a nice way. Crisp and clean makes for a highly quaffable brew that's somewhere between a Blonde Ale and an Extra Pale ale. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Not dated.

Glass: Three Weavers 16-oz. Willi Becher glass

Misc.: Canned on March 29, 2022
I’ve been digging the There Does Not Exist beers I’ve been having from Windmill Farms. Untappd description called for “Sowing The Sun is brewed with an heirloom spring pilsner malt and hopped with Washington grown Willamette hops as well as German grown Hallertau Saphir. Fermented at low temperatures and lagered for many moons this beer is light on the palette with a crisp finish. Tasting notes of barn hay with subtle citrus and white grape aromas.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see some weaving bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Very good watery lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Was really digging the smell. Got Saphir, tangerine, nectarine, peach, light mango, viney berry, white grape, hay and grass. Not as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste was almost as good as the nose but not quite. In order got Saphir (love you), Noble hops, tangerine, nectarine, peach, grape, pear, apple, viney berry, hints of mango, hay and grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Light-to-medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just a really nice Kolsch. Would like to have some more of this. (Overall - 4.25)

On tap at Windsor Homebrew in Anaheim, CA.
Pretty kölsch but low head formation thus not much to look for in retention.
Nose is crisp, Noble, herbal and grassy.
Clean, slightly spicy hop presence with a mild fruity note underneath. Dry finish.
Mouthfeel is light, slightly dry on the finish.

This is a good beer. It's a great flavored kolsch.
Poured hazy, straw yellow with a great rocky head. The nose is light and sweet, like you'd expect. It packs alot of flavor.. floral, and malt, fishing with crisp hint of sweetness or fruit. For this style, as a very easy drink, it's really flavorful.

Packaged on 3/29/22 - consumed on 4/23/22. Poured from a tall-boy into my Uerige stange.
Brilliantly clear, aureolin body with two fingers of pillow-y, rocky, magnolia foam. Crenellated lacing; good retention.
Asian pear, hearth bread, and wild grass in the nose. Pils-like notes, mild noble hops, and faintly grainy malt base as appropriate.
Zesty grassy hop presence leads with moderate yet fading bitterness. Mild floral and fruit qualities follow (melon, grass), leading into the bready, malt backbone, finishing crisp, crackery, and dry. Blind, I would have guessed a lager yeast was utilized, even though this is an ale. Clean.
Light bodied, zippy, refreshing, yet with just a hint of residual astringency to slow you down. Carbonation is maybe a bit high for the style...
Pleasant warm weather beer - easy drinking, and a decent domestic take on the style...
