A blend of a hoppy saison brewed with pilsner and wheat. It was aged for a year in oak before being blended, dry hopped and bottled. It was dry hopped with Motueka and Waimea hops at a rate of 3 lbs / BBL. The interplay of the dry hop and the mixed culture brings forward notes of key lime, grapefruit aromatics, a balancing acidity and oaky vanilla undertones.

Foggy burnt straw yellow with a tall, delicately airy white foam head.
While slightly more acidic and also bitter of grassy allium and herbal hops than their other non-fruited work, it's still impressively balanced and complex for such early an foray into this style.
The acidity actually reduces within the oaky swallow, as hints of yellow apple and even white grape blossom into a kind of 3F quality funk accented by grapefruit reduction. As it warms, a sort of oaty straw quality belies a relative of juiciness.
The medium-light body has a fillingly fluffy yet tingly carbonation that comes to a semi-dry finish.

Pours a medium golden color, ample fluffy white head that lingers. Aroma has an overwhelming wax / industrial smell. This smell dissipates as it sits, and becomes more citrusy and earthy. Flavor is bready, Nice malt flavor, hops are subdued, good amount of funk and earthiness with some Lin and citrus. Good microcarbonation. Overall a pretty good beer, glad I tried it.
