On tap at brewery:
Pours a medium gold with a slight hazy with a sustained fuzzy collar. Jae is lightly tart with a musty attic aroma that speaks to the mixed fermentation. The sourness has a crab apple with lemon and the slightest hint of yogurt. Taste starts off dry and dusty, with the tartness coming with a carbonated spritz that seems to dial it back (at least from the nose). Initially, the tart was light but distinct. Slowly, a more slight tannic bitter wooden note gained my attention. A decent saison with a peppery back evolved from this, but I wanted the tartness to hang on longer than it seemed to.

On tap at Beer Temple. Described on the menu as the 2018 rendition "from this year's foraged yeast cultures."
I take this to mean that the yeast can vary from year to year.
I found this a pretty saison, nice head and clearer than most. Smells were fruity and earthy. Tastes were similar, but the hops appeared sharply to the point that this might not be a food-friendly saison for me. However, Solaire was refreshing.
My first from Forest & Main, I see that they have some 400+ beers on BA. Very prolific. I went on F&M's website and was impressed by their dedication to providing great beers to their Philly suburb... so I'm glad I could sample.
