Kriek Looks above average for fruit beers, nice foam and a pretty rouge. Smells are only slightly above average, sweet malt and the cherries; but not much of interest. Kriek tries to be balanced at the very end with some hops and other flavours, but it isn't convincing and stays sweet. In a light style, this Kriek is on the light side of medium.
I like Silly and enjoyed the tour of this family brewery. But of the 11 beers I've had from them, Kriek probably is last. Needs more character.
