    Breweries/taprooms:
    Duluth:
*Fitgers - Brewpub with plenty of offerings, usually good seasonals and usually a sour on tap and sometimes a barrel aged beer. Good burgers, especially the wild rice burger (try adding bacon if you're not vegitarian) and the artichoke dip
    Canal Park Brewing
    Bent Paddle
    Blacklist
Lake Superior Brewing (about 2 blocks from Duluth Grill)
    Dubh Linn's Irish Pub
    Carmody

    Superior:
Thirsty Pagan - brewpub with a fun lineup, usually a sour or two on tap, awesome pizza (http://www.thirstypaganbrewing.com/)

    Surrounding Area:
    Castle Danger
Borealis Fermentery makes some really cool Belgian style beers. http://borealisfermentery.com/

    Liquor Stores/Bottle Shops:
    Duluth:
    Mt. Royale Bottle Shop
    Cashwise Liquor
    Warehouse Liquor

    Superior:
Keyport - Access to The Bruery, Perennial, TG, Une Annee, New Glarus, Dogfish Head, Alesmith, Smuttynose, Anderson Valley, Shelton Brothers, Coronado, 10-90, Kentucky, Wisconsin Breweries, and a growler filling station (website: http://keyportliquors.com/growler-station)

    Bars:
    Duluth:
    7 West Taphouse
    Grizzly's
    Old Chicago in Canal Park
    *Tycoon's (check out the basement/Rathskeller)
*Burrito Union (Think Chipotle with some more unique burritos and Fitger's beer)
    *Endion station(cider focused)
*all part of the Fitger's family of restaurants, serve Fitger's beers and other guest taps, as well as liquor

    Superior:
    V.I.P. (Vintage Italian Pizza)

Other places of interest (not necessarily craft beer hotspots)
    Duluth:
Duluth Grill - great food, especially breakfast
    Lake Avenue Cafe
Northern Waters Smokehaus. It's tiny, but it's great. Sandwiches and charcuterie are great without even to mention the smoked fish... also great. ! http://www.northernwaterssmokehaus.com/
    Sir Ben's - http://www.sirbens.com/
New Scenic Cafe (on the way up the shore, near Two Harbors - spendy and more foodie-esqe but awesome)http://www.newsceniccafe.com

    Superior:
Anchor Bar - fun and cheap diver bar. Search for the segment from Diners, Driver-ins, and Dives.
Gronk's - Good burgers, but on the far end of Superior.
@Chaz likes Belknap Lounge in Superior for a bloody Mary
Shamrock Bar & Pizza - from @dc55110 "They make the quintessential Midwest style pizza: thin cracker crust, cut into squares, loaded with cheese and heaped with toppings. Their smoked pepperoni is beyond description; The beer is mostly BMC, but they usually have Summit or New Glarus ontap. They are located on the far south side of Superior, past the airport on Tower Ave (5825 Tower Ave), you'll feel like you've gone too far but you haven't."

    Nice consolidation!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Canal Park is the only dog-friendly brewery in town. Need to sit outside though, but they do bring a water dish and treats out for your best friend.

I might just include Sir Ben's in the beer bar category. It's got a pretty good tap list. Not super worked up about it though. Nice work on this.

One note: Warehouse liquor is no more. They went out of business in November 2014 and the building was knocked down To put up a Dunkin' Donuts. Also Burrito Union is awesome. Get the fish tacos.

    Nice list OP.

Just got back to the cities. Ended up driving to castle danger and was glad that I did. I liked their offerings more than bent paddle. CD had an awesome bourbon barrel stout on tap. Came home with growlers from Fitgers, Canal Park, Bent Paddle and Castle Danger. Plus 5 cases of left overs from my wedding this past weekend. Looks like I won't need to dip into the beer budget for at least a little while

I should also mention in canal park there is a craft beer and Cider House called Endion Station that was a nice place to grab a drink.

Agreed. The flight there is nice, even if the cocktails need some work. I'd recommend Vikre over canal park brewing.

O'so BlackBerry berliner growler fills at Keyport. Cheap, delicious, and at only 3% you can drink an entire growler over the course of a day.

Have fun, It is a pretty neat city. Just remember, no alcohol sales on Sundays in MN (although, breweries can fill growlers on Sundays), so no MN only distro bottles, unfortunately. Also, if you are there for lunchtime, go to the Northern Waters Smokehaus. You will not be let down.
