The barrel aged version of this is ludicrous..........
I see your Schwartz is as big as mine.
I strongly dislike the idea of themed beers.
I'll be careful...
Wow at all those Star Wars inspired artwork beers! Funny to see this thread too, since I'm on the verge of getting Space Station: Middle Finger next time I go to a certain liquor store.
But this is why the NEBCO Imperial Stout Trooper has to wear Groucho glasses.
One week from today!! Anyone else getting ready? My oldest Imperial Stout Trooper is 2010 (I think this might be the first year with the groucho glasses on the label). Just received a Deth's Tar from the most recent batch from a buddy in Cleveland. This might be a stretch, but had Greenbush Atomic Tauntaun overdrive from the Advent calendar - where else would tauntaun come from? Got a B Nectar Episode 13 and a Westbrook Dark Helmet. Group of buddies who are both beer geeks and Star Wars nerds, so I'm sure we will crack several of these over several viewings of the show.
Working on getting a Brew Kettle Imperial Schwartzbier, but any beers that I might be missing here?
Toppling Goliath Light Speed, made from Millenium & Falconer's Flight hops.
Admiral Ackbar's It's a Trappist
Blue Moon's newest variant, That's No Moon.
Forgot about that one. I have an empty bottle thanks to some buddies who drank it without me, but have yet to get a full bottle. ISO
Hah! I started a similar thread for May 4th. I can't remember all of them, but I'll add Deaths Tar from Pipeworks and ChewBockA from Zero Gravity.
Not familiar with that one and not able to find anything about it on BA or online. Do you have any leads?
Yeah, but they miss so often...
I've seen that image before, but isn't that just a play on Sam Adams? It's not a real beer label is it?
Central Waters Space Ghost.
I have Revoultion's Deth's Tar lined up.
Damn I haven't seen anything here in FL
There's actually a self-distributing home brewer that's made it. Label is different, but it's been out there.
Something terrible; because the movie will probably suck based on the 3 most recent films.
I've never heard of any of these beers, interesting.
I did an original trilogy marathon last week with some friends and broke out Ninkasi's Ground Control, made with yeast that's been to space, plus some Bell's Neptune and the Iron Maiden's Trooper beer.
Dark Lord and Death's Tar.... BEAT THAT!
Death's Tar is Revolution...
Actually, the reason everyone is so excited, is George Lucas will have nothing to do with this one.
Oops! Thanks for the correction. At least I got the city right!
Except the last of those 3 was released over ten years ago and was written and directed by Lucas. Thankfully these movies are not.
I just haven't good luck with the gimmicky marketing product for bourbon, wine or beer
Deth's Tar is actually from the Revolution
Here is one.
Seems to have been initiated after they filed for a trademark. Empire brewing producing Strikes Bock.
Reading the article it was probably an objection more than an actual suit.
No one's used this?
You'll be dead!
An underrated pale ale IMO, it better be good given the name.
I was lucky enough to not only get a few bottles of this, but also got a huge poster, probably 3 ft x 5 ft that hangs on my studio wall, along with my bottle collection of Star Wars themed bottles.
While not Star Wars related exactly, Old Hickory Event Horizon tucks nicely into the genre.

This little one's not worth the effort. Come, let me get you something.
No one mentioned Wookie Jack?
Dark lord is more Harry Potter? Not sure of that term is used in Star Wars.
