Did they announce any holiday hours? Friend of mine who is actually from Braddock is heading home for the holidays and wanted to swing by.

    Hey everyone,

I'm the head brewer at Brew Gentlemen. I just want to clear up some of the rumors and introduce myself.

    1. Canning will happen in the future but we don't have a timeline for it. It's not as simple/quick as people might think. We will be purchasing a canning line and not using mobile canning...

    2. We are in the process of an expansion to allow us to supply much more beer and eventually can the product.

    3. Holiday hours will be posted to Instagram and through our weekly email today I believe.

    4. If you have any other questions please ask!

    Thanks,
    Zach

Thanks for the response Zach! Been hearing great things, hope to get to try some of your offering in the future.

Purchasing the canning line seems like a sound investment and i'm sure in no time will pay dividends!

    Cheers

I was fortunate enough to make my first visit this past weekend. The [growing] reputation is justified. Bubble Wreck blew my mind. I eagerly await the aforementioned cans.

If I was going to fill up on 3 growlers based on what's remaining this weekend what do you think they should be? I'm definitely getting General Braddock's and Foshomo if it's still on. Third?

I would highly recommend the Foshomo, MoMo and the Gen Braddock. The first two are mosaic single hop beers. And they are both complete juice bombs. The Foshomo is the double IPA version of the Momo.

The Kaizen is a much drier IPA...good..but dry.

I realky likedthe Bubble Wreck too.

Flight Risk is all cascade...a dank beast for those who like that.

In all, these beers are killer. Also hit up Dancing Gnome if you like hop-forward haze bombs. Dancing Gnome beers are much drier...but do a great job isolating hop flavors.

Visited Pgh last week - was super happy with the few beers I had. Foshomo, General Braddock's and Flight Risk were right up there with some of the best beers I've had this year. Can't wait to revisit.

Also went to Dancing Gnome - not quite the same level but enjoyed it.

Scored growlers of Foshomo, Gen Braddock and Kaizen. Looking forward to them for sure, thanks for the responses everyone!

So wow, having Kaizen now. This is straight Tree House juice, has that great green hop matter finish on the palate. Can't wait to try the other two, will keep this hush hush haha.

How busy is BG on weekends? Want to recommend it to some family members who will be visiting Pittsburgh next weekend but I don't think the wives will tolerate waiting in line. Any info/suggestions appreciated.

I have been there only once in the evening and 10 or so times in the afternoon and there was never a line to get in. I believe I always got a seat at the main bar. Unless there's something special going on, they should be fine...there are 3 rooms to enjoy a beer in.

Where can I find more info about The End? I didn't see it on their Facebook page or website

It was on Instagram. That is their most active social media platform for releases.

I think at this point you'll need to trade for it if you want any.

What does BG charge for the 750ml growler glass?
