On cask at The Bruery
Pours almost black in color with a very small layer of bubbles. Smells mostly of Autumn Maple and bananas. As it warms up, there’s a bit of chocolate and vanilla. No much stout/barrel. Tastes a lot like Autumn Maple and banana, too. A light spice note and some chocolate and vanilla. Medium bodied and low carbonation.

This is a review of the 2011 iteration at the Bruery's halloween party. This year, it's a blend of regular Chocolate Rain and Autumn Maple.
A - Murky brown with no head.
S - Bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, pumpkin pie spices, maple syrup, caramel, malt. Wow. Lots going on.
T - Lots of chocolate, some bourbon, oak, and yams and maple syrup from the Autumn Maple.
M - No carbonation, due to it being served out of a pumpkin. I wish there was more.
O - A great beer. I think it's better with the tart cherries, but still something you should try if you ever get a chance.

In a pumpkin cask at The Bruery's Halloween party, this is supposedly a 50/50 blend of Autumn Maple and Cherry Chocolate Rain, had about 15 oz. or 3 pours, going with 14.1% as a simple average,
A: Pours a murky brown, one can see the CCR's influence, with no head. Lots of floating spent cherries. Giving it a 4 for a unique look.
S: Direct cherry off the bat, with squash, winter spice, vanilla, great nose.
T: Seamless blend of Autumn Maple and CCR, really not much more to say. The tart cherries interact with the yams and winter spice very well. Delicious.
M: Full-bodied, smooth, noticable booze, but that's fine at this ABV.
D: Glad I got to try this. It's a shame it'll probably only be available for a day, hopefully they'll bring it back next year.
