Poured from can. Immediate nose of flaked coconut. Light on body but still filled with coconut flavor and a hint of coconut. Not overly sweet for having Lactose.

Very odd that I had this one, definitely remember reviewing it, and still it's not showing up. 16 oz. can consumed about 2 weeks after release in March, so figure beginning of April.

So tough to do from memory, but they may never make it again. As such.

L: Same as Port Omna and the other variants. No difference detected.

S: Definitely caught the cinnamon up front, milk sugar, and coconut, which despite normally fading quickly in beer was still quite strong. Roasted malts throughout. Milk sugar gives this a bit of a Morning Bell quality.

T: Cinnamon and dairy up front, roasted malts and coconut come in midpalate. Flavors don't compete, but complement. Nice neutral finish.

F: Medium bodied, light carbonation. Very solid construction and balance and easy to drink as a stout can be.

O: Great variant of the base stout.

Be forewarned that if you don't like cinnamon, stay away from this one. Pours a nice dark brown, leaning into the realm of black. Cinnamon for days on the initial smell. Taste got even better. The coconut is present, but plays well with the cinnamon. I enjoyed the blend of the two major flavor players. Sweet and a little thin on the finish. Overall, I loved this beer. Would definitely have it all the time if possible.

Poured from a can into my new Kane goblet.

A: Dark mahogany almost black with a solid ring of coffee colored foam.
S: Cinnamon and coconut some chocolate.
T: Slight heat from the cinnamon, a touch of smokiness, milk chocolate and sweetness. A touch of roasted malts.
MF: Silky is the first word that comes to mind.
O: A tremendous beer. A near perfect balance of sweet and heat. Proof that one can use big flavors and be subtle. This is pretty close to perfect.
