Short Wave is our very special collaboration with Transmitter Brewing. This is a 7.3% dry hopped Saison brewed with Continental Pilsner, wheats and oats. Its hopped with German Saphir and New Zealand Wakatu in the kettle and dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra and Amarillo. We fermented it dry with a French Saison yeast then we can conditioned it to a more traditional carbonation level of 3.4 volumes.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and has a high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a two finger high bright white head that died down every so slowly, eventually leaving two large pillows on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops—limes seem to stand out in particular—are present in the smell along with notes of floral hops and Belgian yeast.
T: The flavors in the taste closely follow the aromas in the smell with lots of lime sand notes of floral hops and Belgian yeast, the latter of which is most noticeable towards the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied and dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a well-carbonated and well-hopped saison. The aromas and flavors of limes made it very unique. The only drawback was that it was a little too over carbonated.
