Blueberry Island is a collaboration with our good friends at Sand City Brewery . Blueberry Island is a 6.3% IPA brewed with Golden Promise, oats and lactose and hopped with Mosaic in the kettle, dry-hopped with more Mosaic then conditioned it on blueberries and a small amount of vanilla beans

Look: blueish purple. Hint of hazy.
Minimal head.
Aroma:
Weak nose little bit of blueberry little touch of vanilla.
Taste is a light mix of blueberry and citrus.
Thin mouthfeel.
Interesting combination of flavors; tasty but weak on peripherals.

L - pours what looks like a grapefruit mimosa. Dull sunset red with a thick milky haze. Minimal head.
S - getting a shitton of lemon bread mosaic spice. Those bitter blueberries that always catch you by surprise. Plastic.
T - candied blueberry smoothie. Shockingly bitter hops slightly rounded off with the subtle vanilla bean. Can definitely taste the lactose sugar. Toast and blueberry jam. Leaves a teeth rotting fuzziness when all is said and done.
F - smooth but light. Lively carbonation and a lupulin-laden mealiness.
O - it's a weird one. Flavor is a bit thin and not completely pulled together, but I can appreciate the flavors and the attempt.

An IPA with blueberries, vanilla beans and milk sugar--and it works! The bite of Mosaic hops comes through, somewhat tempered by a subtle underpinning from the blueberries and lactose. The oat base provides freshness, and your thirst for something exceptional is quenched.
