On tap, pint glass. This review is dug out from age old notes.
Cloudy tangerine colored liquid with a 1-plus F dense white cap. Ring lacing.
Strong tropical nose. Some stone fruit and lemony citrus.
Strong tropical fruit flavors. Guava and lime juice.
Oats sop up some of the galaxy hop juices. Bittersweet hop finish. A bit thin despite the oats.
My review has mellowed with time. I recall not enjoying the galaxy overkill and juice.

On draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It pours a totally opaque tangerine color with brownish hues, and a finger of foamy, milk-white head and creamy lacing, both of which lasted through the pour. The fragrant smell included tangerine, lemon, lime, sweet guava, vanilla, lite pine, and floral hops. When sipped there is an initial blast of tart, bitter tangerine but soon the sweetness of the guava, oats, and vanilla appear. This ale is single hopped with Galaxy and the hops add bitterness but are soft and don't bite hard. There is a great balance of tart, bitter citrus and sweet tropical fruit. It's a little like drinking a tart creamsicle. The feel is soft and creamy with pleasant carbonation, and with a moderate 7% ABV it goes down very easily. Overall, this is a typical superb fruity IPA from Kane with lots of flavor. It's a pleasure to drink.

The is the murkiest Kane beer i remember seeing. But the deep orange reddish color is really nice looking.
The guava is prominent on the nose and palate in this Galaxy, oat, lactose, Golden Promise IPA. It’s an easy drinking beer compared to many of this style. It’s creamy without being heavy and it’s light on the palate. The finish is nicely dry and bitter, with tropical fruit and grassy notes of Galaxy hops, guava, lemon rind, a bready malt backbone.
I really love how this beer is not overly sweet like so many other in the style. Well done.

can to snifter.
enjoying a little more this time having a full 16oz to savor and get into it. (32oz actually since I am drinking 2 back to back).
still some off notes.
i get mold and passion fruit in the nose, plus a few musty/skunky whiffs.
taste is tropical fruit/passion fruit with citrus popping in later.
My least favorite of the Kane "punches", but not bad. Rating up a touch again to 3.61.
