Cloudy deep gold pour with a firm, fluffy head that laces nicely. Riwaka is a really refreshing, lemon citrus forward hop that'll take the edge off any thirst. Deep melon aroma, and a gentle hop presence that's more pleasant than biting. Easy enjoyment!

Medium gold color. Cloudy and barely translucent. Tons of lacing
Southern Hemisphere hops are my jam. Such single hopped IPA’s can be the most unique examples of the style. The brewery says “pungent aromas of passionfruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and ripe melon.” I think they’re selling themselves short, or avoiding terms that don’t fit the mold of what’s acceptable? desired? in? I say vinous, white pepper, light citronella, earthy bay leaf, oregano, green pineapple, a sweet & spicy note of cinnamon and sweet lemon-lime citrus. Delectable.

Can to snifter.
LOOK:
Pale yellow. Medium haze. Medium off white head. Good retention.
AROMA:
Citrus. Earth. Floral. Light yeast and biscuit.
TASTE:
Lime. Light Cracker or biscuit.
FEEL:
Light to medium body. Carbonation was disappointing.
A touch disappointing. Very few memories of Riwaka, but the Double Riwaka from HF I had at A festival awhile back was excellent. (I liked it better than Double Galaxy and Double Citra which are much higher rated). This is ok flavor wise, but lacks that extra quality expected from Kane.
