I tried this beer at the Columbus location/pub as part of a four sample flight. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had good floral potpourri subtle tart berry fruit notes. The taste was tart leaning but was easy to drink. There was a tart fruit base balanced by floral and earth highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

750 ML bottle
Served in a an oversized wine glass
This beer pours cloudy and pale yellow in color. It is topped with two inches of white head that disappears quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell is tart bordering on just straight up sour. It has some lemon notes with a little funky/basement aromas.
It starts with lemon zest followed closely by some tartness with a side of mildew. The finish is lemon and slightly sour.
Fairly thin and effervescent mouthfeel
I like this saison. The sour aspects keep me intrigued while the dank basement aroma and flavor keep it earthy and grounded. The lemon adds a sense of freshness to it. I think it was a little more refreshing when I had it in August when it was hot out but still hits the spot on a cool fall day.

Smells a lot like funky urine (or what I think it would smell like!). Taste however is very different. Very dry, white wine with lemon rind flavor with very little funk
