Farmhouse Pale Ale
Liquid freakin’ fruit loops man! Brewed with Indian Coriander, Cara Cara Oranges, and hop-bursted with Centennial hops! As refreshing as those long distance discreet dial-up love connections.

Slight haze on the pale amberish brew. Peculiar fruity finish. It's quite sippable and the slushy mouthfeel is pleasant. The aroma is just... unusual and I can't place it, but I don't have to like it either. I had to look up what was that odd flavor, and it's oranges. Then with the coriander this is apparently really a Witbier. But way too strong. This stuff has been around for almost 10 years. No date on this batch purchased on the West Coast.

Poured from 16oz can into my Lord Chambray tumbler. There's a code on the can, but it's not a recognizable date.
Appearance: light golden hue with a dash of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: a fair bit of saison funk mixed with a big dose of earthy, citrusy hops, and a spiced aroma that reminds me of grains of paradise (or, indeed, coriander). It's not bad, but it's kind of a jumble.
Taste: very much like the aroma -- a hoppy farmhouse flavor with a dose of spicing. It's not terrible, but I'm not entirely convinced it works.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer has a lot going on, but the elements don't really balance each other. It just doesn't quite work for my palate.

1 PINT can
Served in a tulip glass
This beer pours pale yellow and is hazy. It is topped with a couple inches of fluffy, white head that disappears quickly leaving no trace.
Citrus aroma with some underlying spices.
Citrus flavor with spicy undertones. Spices in the finish.
Lighter bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
I liked the citrusy aspect, but other than that it was pretty middling.

Hazy pale yellow with a short-lived finger of off-white head. Modest lacing.
Nice, traditional saison yeast profile in the aroma. Just a hint of fruitiness behind soapy, lightly-floral, coriander-type character.
Fruitier tasting — fruit punch medley, only slightly tropical — layered over a more traditional base with lemongrass notes joining other qualities from the nose. The fruit is distinctive, but not over the top, more-or-less complementing the base.
Medium bodied for the style with a slick feel and nice carbonation fizz.
I love the base here. To my taste, I’d maybe dial down the fruitiness a touch, but it’s still enjoyable. Great beer.

When a hop-heavy brewer ventures into Belgian territory, it often seems not quite right. But, it can be good.
Teletrilldonics is not quite right, but is quite good.
To be a really good wit, it needs a yeast that produces more fruit. This takes a long time to cultivate and keep.
But given that disadvantage, Hoof Hearted does a pretty good job.
Teletrilldonics Looks slightly below the wit field average. Smells improve to likable and subtle and pretty much stay there for Taste. In the mouth, it is both soft and the carbonation is good. It did a very good job of quenching on a hot day and then cutting through the olive oil in a pesto dish at dinner.
OA: A suitable wit. Just not great. Maybe the oats make it unique.
It is hard for me to review a brew from a brewer new to me without also making a brewer review.
Hoof Hearted has the graphics and sense of humor that are diverse, unique, creative and more that slightly odd. I reviewed the labels of their website's entire beer list and these guys really focus on their humor... however off-center it may be. Besides, Heartland Ohio needs more of that. Cheers !

Though I’m giving this decidedly average ratings, the truth is I really like it—love the effervescence, it’s light but the wheaty aleness pops through, and it’s lovely for a hot summer day. Touches of spice/citrus, while not full force offer just the right amount for quaffing after cutting the grass/outside chores.

From a 16oz canned dated 06/16/20. Pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a nice but quickly fading head. Nicely spiced with tropical fruits on the nose and palate. Minimal hoppy bitterness. Very nice farmhouse-style ale.
