Poured a cloudy orange body with one finger head and lace. Has a fruity aroma, pear hits me more than subtle tropical notes, with mild sour notes. Light bodied and not sure if minor alcohol burn (which is not very high except accounting for style) or just the spices from beer, but I get a hot and spicy sweetness along with this pear like fruit aftertaste in a clean finish. This is a head scratcher because not your typical saison with only minor sour/tart notes and no barnyard funk to speak of, however, it reminds me of a juicy, tropical fruit beer with some peppery dryness and hint of yeast twang that is balanced in with beer and beer is quite enjoyable.

 

We ventured to the tropics of Southeast Asia to bring you a saison with subtle hints of sweet rambutan. A little tart on the tongue, but the dry finish keeps it refreshing.
