(12 oz can, purchased cold single at Pinocchio's last weekend... shared between two stemless wine glasses)
Slightly-hazy, pale, yellow-amber liquid... not much pop on the nose... washed-out white grapefruit overtone on the palate, with an unmistakable corn tortilla note in the middle with a soft whisper of funk blooming in the finish... was expecting more grapefruit, considering the suggestion of Paloma... a nice table beer of sorts, but forgettable (2248)

Purchased as a single 12oz. can from The Blue Door for $3.00. Poured into two different tulip glasses (due to the extremely large head).
L - Pale yellow, with a massive head (enough to need to pour it into two separate glasses). Head dissipates after a good five minutes. Pretty good lacing.
S - Mango, passion fruit, tamarind, coconut. Grapefruit peel. Sweet in aroma. Getting a good wheat on the backend.
T - Like the aroma, but muted. Tart. Briny. Well-balanced; not as sweet as the aroma would lead one to believe. Heavy coriander on the finish.
F - Medium-light body, with plenty of carbonation. Super easy-to-drink, and refreshing.
O - Pretty good on a hot day like today. Sort of wish the flavor was more intense, or at least as intense as the aroma. Definitely give it a try, though.

The brewery describes this as a paloma style ale brewed with grapefruit. I had this beer with a wonderful meal at Rhubarbs in Asheville. This beer was an excellent compliment to the meal.
The beer was served from tap into a pint glass. Bright clear yellow color with little head or lacing. Refreshing smell of lemon and lavender, floral. Taste of tart apples and sweet pears. Some herbs and spices came out as it warmed, sage and sweet spices, a bit tangy. The grapefruit seemed to serve many purposes here. A very nice beer that makes me want to have more beers from this brewery.
