This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy golden color with a thin white foamy head that softly died off. Some light lace. The aroma had a semi-sweet citrusy pulpy to bitter notes over top of some light Brett and a little bit of freshly cut grass. The flavor reigned in the previously mentioned aromas in a semi-sour fresh taste. Slight citrusy semi-sour aftertaste and finish. The feel was light to medium bodied. More of a sipper as the Brett creates some sour harshness to ride along my tongue. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Overall, nice way to bring in Spring with this one. I’d have again.
This looks brilliant. Rich purple/pink with light haze and a finger of pinkish white head. Can smell the lactic and citric acid in the aroma along with some fresh berries and heavy floral notes. Taste follows through with fresh lemonade, blackberries, citrus zest/rind, floral, and pear notes. Quite tart. Very refreshing. Medium carbonation and full body. Great spring beer.
