Hate to knock this but I felt it was pretty underwhelming. If this was in a can and I had just finished an hour or two of yard work in the heat, it'd be a decent gulper. But sitting in their (albeit totally awesome) space, I was def disappointed. Nothing to note, just kinda bland and weak.

Growlette (750ml) brought home and poured into a mug.
The appearance was a muddy copper semi-transparent color with a film of a little white head. Sliding lace.
The aroma had some grassy sweet to sour to tart blend over top of a huge lemon drop candy-like quality.
The flavor copied the aroma pretty much spot on with a fluent aftertaste of the same.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a huge sour to tart finish. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, if this is a kvass then I am Indiana Jones and this isn't the lost ark I've been searching for. If anything, sour fans might like this. Kvass fans, I advise you steer away from this one. A swing and a miss by Foam. Needs more breadiness and some sweeter qualities to meld and create a finer blend. Cherry sweetness sometimes even comes about in this style.

Pours a cloudy dark amber hue with a finger of off-white head. The head is gone rather quickly, leaving some lacing in its wake.
The aroma is extremely tart and grassy, with some subtle notes of bread.
The taste follows the nose. Very tart, bordering sour, like a green apple Warhead candy, with some very subtle notes of pear and peaches. Very grassy and lemony on the finish.
The feel is medium-light bodied with moderately high carbonation. Crisp, but despite the carbonation the tartness cannot be contained.
Overall, an OK wild ale that is a bit too sour for my tastes. There's some grassiness and funk going on but overall it's just overpowered by mouth-puckering tartness. This is my first time having a beer of this style so I am not familiar with it, but from what I understand this is not an accurate representation. This definitely drinks like a wild ale to me.
