Had at the brewery. Pours a light golden orange with good lacing and persistent head. Very light nose with an atypical sweet character with slight fruity undertones. The taste opens up with dry carbonation, followed by a light lemon zest and citrus and finishes with a strong sake flavor that is a bit off-putting. It is a rice saison, so the sake notes make sense, but not my cup of tea. Also has a bit too much carbonation for my taste. It’s a very different beer, but different isn’t always good.
