Crushable, crisp, and totally ready to party, Fiestaveza is here! We brewed this Mexican style Lager with toasty Vienna and bready Pilsner malts with a hefty dose of flaked maize to keep the body lean and make the drinking so easy that you don't even have to try! Throw a lime wedge in it, we don't mind. Grab some tacos and enjoy!

Canned on 4/25/22; consumed on 5/27/22
Pours a clear, dark golden body capped with multiple fingers of a rocky, soapy, white foam; great head retention leaves a finger of chunky cap and expansive, sudsy collar as blotches of webby lacing are strewn across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to firm corn and an established white bread backing, with touches of straw giving a rustic edge as the transition to a cool florality and clean minerality evolve steadily.
Taste features soft corn into white bread, with doughy yeast over the mid-palate becoming distantly metallic into the back end, where a subtle florality meets straw on the finishing impressions.
Mouthfeel offers a light body with medium-full carbonation leading into a fluffy dispersion and fairly taut, crisp textures rounded mid-palate; a snappy crispness persists into the back end as an extensively dry finish lingers.
Semi-sweet corn encounters a burly malt breadiness, a hearty pairing cut by deft hop subtleties; while nothing extraordinary overall, this is a reliably consistent and predominantly clean Mexican-style lager.

Snuck over to Windmill Farms to see if they had some North Park cans I was eyeing and alas they did. Their website called it “Crushable, crisp, and totally ready to party, Fiestaveza is here! Poured a medium yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of off-white frothy-to-fizzy head. Lots of fast-moving bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass. Bad watery lacing. Average retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Smelled red apple, pear, brown toast, Wheat Thins, corn cereal, honey, menthol and grass. More earthy pilsner malt from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted a little better than the nose. Got red apple, pear, corn cereal, honey, Wheat Thins, earthy pilsner malt, hints of brown bread, menthol and grass. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Thin texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Really liked this overall. Grew on me each sip. Just an outstanding light lager. (Overall - 4.00)
