Notes:
We found an old mechanical hop picking machine in the fields of England, in the shadow of Stonehenge. With a lot of work, a modicum of sweat and a little monkey grease, the newly refurbished machine has been repurposed to deliver hop flavor to your mouth as efficiently as possible. Featuring a heap of citrusy Citra and mounds of mango-ish Mosaic hops conveyor belted on a base of wheat and flaked oats.

This is just a great NE IPA. Nothin special just a well crafted brew. This is the best example of the NE style.

Palate Contaminants: other beer
Light straw color. Opaque, although I can catch a shadow of a finger behind it. Lots of very fine white head and lots of lacing.
A little bit of freshly cu grass and a little bit of light malt. Some bittersweet orange in there, too.
Lots of citrus in the taste. Part of it is medium-strong lime (of all things), and part of it is lightly bitter orange. It's plenty earthy, too. Grass comes across more like lemongrass because of the dominant citrus. And it's not chalky, but there's some sort of anti-acidity push (not lactic) that I can't quite describe. Light sweetness. Interesting, if you can come across a can.
Like I alluded to, there's some sort of Tums effect going on, and it's really poorly described with those words. So, it's smooth, but not in a conventional way. Medium carbonation, although not prickly. Medium weight. Aftertaste is earthy and mellow elements.

Pours a murky light gold with normal carbonation. Aroma is thick with juiciness. Taste is much the same. Hops are piled on here and obscure the booze. All in all a decent NEIPA or DNEIPA to sip through.

Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Firestone 16-oz. Spiegelau IPA glass
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $4.69
Purchased: Sept. 20, 2019
Consumed: Sept. 20, 2019
Reviewed as: New England Double / Imperial IPA
Misc.: Canned on Aug. 7, 2019
Was excited to see this in stores as the last time I bought it (Dec. 24, 2018) I only had a can of it and didn’t get the chance to rate it. I gave it at 4 on Untappd and wrote, “If you’re into not being able to see through your IPA, this is outstanding. Big notes of Mosaic, mango, pineapple, passion fruit & Citra.” Can description read, “We found an old mechanical hop picking machine in the fields of England, in the shadow of Stonehenge. Was looking forward to it.
Poured a golden hazy color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at a pretty quick pace. World-class foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled big notes of mango, passion fruit, peach skin, tangerine, Citra, Mosaic, stone fruit, SunnyD, mandarin orange and hints of honeydew melon. More mango, Mosaic and Citra from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still really good. Got mango, tangerine, passion fruit, orange creamsicle, peach skin, Mosaic, Citra, SunnyD, mandarin orange and stone fruit. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish with some bitterness. (Feel - 4.25)
Maybe not quite as good as I remember it, but still outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)

Dark yellow in color with hazy, unfiltered appearance. Poured with a moderate, creamy, bright white foam with very good retention. Medium high sweet fruit, fresh pineapple, and stone fruit aromas. Medium malty aromas with light boozy notes. Medium bodied with medium light carbonation. Silky, creamy smooth feel with pleasant boozy warmth from the middle to the end. Fruity an tropical flavors with pineapple and melon notes. Medium hop bitterness through the middle. Citrus notes followed by sweet fruit and malt flavors and boozy heat from the middle to the end. Finished semi-dryly with sticky tropical and light malty flavors. Juicy and tasty with a great feel. Mellow bitterness and booziness balances the sweetness. Very tasty.

Can poured into a Russian River Brewing Co pub glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Lots of ripe tropical and stone fruit, a little citrus, a hint of melon, a touch of pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, papaya, apricot, and hints of melon, a little citrus, lemon lime and tangerine, a touch of spicy pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Good, but not the best I've had from Revision.

The Bruff pours a bright, hazy yellow with a moderate 1-finger head and good lacing retention.
The smell is a literal juice bomb with grapefruit, mango and other tropical fruits with a grassy complexity and floral characteristic.
The taste. Lush fruits, both tropical and and citrus with a light vanilla sweetness, from the oats with a mellow hop bitterness. Smooth on the palette with a long clean dry finish.
