Green Torch Lime Lager
Green Torch is a big flow lime lager. Stone crisp, low bitterness, even balance & lime for that big gulp, foam down your cheeks, beer drinking refreshment.

Green Torch pours a clean golden color, with a medium, long-lasting head. The aroma is clean, crisp cereal and hints of lime. The flavor is much the same, clean, crisp, bright cereal notes, and just hints of lime. Good feel. Overall, pleasant lager, very light.

A nice brew to improve a lunch that was tacos. (Lime went well.)
Green Torch Looks like an appetising lager with sufficient foam tho lack longevity. Smells mostly of malt and lime (could be artificial.) Tastes are balanced, but I am suspecting something other than barley in the bill to make this lighter. Not quite medium-mouthed. Green Torch will be better in summer than on a faux spring day.
My ninth from Half Acre, it seems like they have been around longer than eight years. They also have done lots of experimentation, three times as many brews as Off Color in a similar timeline. Nonetheless, both are fixtures in Chicago crafting.

Tastes good. Wondering if this is brewed with rice? Has that flavor, and then the sweet, but tart lime. I wish I knew the details of the lager they add the lime to. Is it an adjunct lager? Who knows. Seems like without the lime it would be a great beer. With the lime it is excellent, if you like lime in your beer. Not much more to say. Refreshing, great summer beer.

Clearance buy at the liquor store. This is their take on Corona Lime. It has more character, more malt, more artificial tasting lime. Just not my style

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of salty lime. Tastes of lime and salty lager. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking. Overall, a very good beer.
