Had on tap at the brewery. Pours clear, tan in color with minimal head. Taste is black tea and leather with pale malt. Light bodied, bitter, low carbonation. Really good for the style. Would get again.

The pour is a dark amber color. The taste is brown bread crust, toasted grains, along with some hints of toffee. Cheers! B

Murky amber pouring beer with a 2 finger slightly off white head. The bubbles are smaller and it's fluffy looking. There's some lacing on the glass. Decent retention. Some carbonation rising in the glass.
Slightly malty aroma. Not too much else and the aroma is light.
This beer is very malty. Lots of malty biscuit flavor, some sweetness. The bitterness comes into play on the backside from the hops. The hops seem to have a pine character.
The body is actually pretty damn good and full.
I am digging this one. Delicious!

Pours a light, translucent amber. Good amount of beige colored head and good retention, eventually receding to a thin cap and some solid lacing. Overall, I find this a very attractive beer. Aroma is equally enticing, with plenty of bread and toasted malts.
Taste is really nice. A little more malty sweetness and a lot less bitterness than I expected. I'm not getting much in the way of hops, which is fine by me as I'm not a huge hophead overall. Feel is also a little stickier and full bodied than I expected.
Overall, very tasty beer, just not spot on with what I expect in an ESB. That said, I could drink this repeatedly!

A: The beer is very hazy light brown in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down and left a thin collar around the edge and delicate lacing covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of bready and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of toasted malts are a little stronger and the underlying hops contribute a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This ESB has a nice amount of malts and just enough in the way of hops to mask any malty sweetness.
Serving type: can

Pours a nearly opaque light amber, soapy 2" off-white head, good retention and moderate lacing. Nose is light floral hop, lightly roasted malt and caramel, slightly dry and woodsy. Taste has notes of creamy, lightly sweet toffee balanced by noble hop bitterness. Finish is pleasantly dry while the mouthfeel is full and creamy. Very enjoyable and a nice surprise.

Pours a fairly large frothy creamy almost 2 finger head with great retention and soapy lacing, very hazy copper to amber color
Nose is light but good, sweet malt, grainy toasty, little sweet toasted grain hint fruity, light herbal earthy hop
Taste creamy malt, grainy toasty, almost bread crust toasty, fair fruity notes, med to lighter bitterness with fair herbal earthy hop, gets a bit sweet almost syrupy, a hint biscuity and caramel like, drier finish, hops get a hint spicy
Mouth is med to a little fuller bod and faint syrupy, med fizzy carb
Overall it's not bad and mostly within style just way too light in everything, as it warms it gets a bit better

dope label art on this, a fine esb too, classically malty, simple, autumnal, and drinkable, i liked everything about this. not perfectly clear amber beer, frothy tan head an inch high, aroma of light spicy hops, a magnum grassiness and alpha profile, and hints of toasted sugar, fallen leaves, and breakfast bread from the malt, thoroughly english to me, and nicely combined. i like the warming toasted nature of the grain in the flavor, and the richness without the sweetness, hard to do. i also like the bready english yeast this brings, the dry finish, and the overall freshness, which i never really seem to observe in this style unless it smacks me in the face like it does here, why cant the english themselves make them taste like this?! godo finishing bite, sturdy structure but mad drinkable too, killer carbonation is the key. this seems perfect for a rain snow mix in early winter, letting the holidays slowly creep in, this type of beer is always in fashion for me, and this is a great example of it. i have not had a ton from these guys, but in my experience they are leading the charge among the not real brewery breweries in the twelve percent portfolio. this is great, no matter its real origin story. no complaints.

Cloudy dark amber body with a full white head. Smell is pure malt with a caramel and nut emphasis, leafy hops are faint in the distance. Taste has a yeast that kind of tastes like dirt, but it is not a detraction as the earthiness fits with the toasted caramel, nut, and leafy hops from the nose. Feel is smooth, a bit heavy for an ESB, smooth and lush. Really nice ESB for any time of year
