    Not discussed and often overlooked, even by Buckeyes are:
    • JAFB - There's always several on tap at the brewpub and they're all delicious. I had a flight recently and each time I took a sip, I thought "Wow! This is the best one!" Next glass, "Wow! This is the best one!" I'd put his up against any, even the Big Boys;
    • Maumee Bay's Glasshopper. Rarely mentioned, but a very fine IPA. Delicate, flowery, fruity and quite tasty.

    JAFB definitely deserves a mention when talking about awesome Ohio IPAs. Rain Delay and New Stunt are world-class imo. I think part of the problem is they're draft-only and somewhat isolated. If they started distributing, I think they could be the next big thing.

    Living in Ohio is pretty good in terms of beer distribution as well, so I have to say I'm a pretty happy camper.

    Most definitely. Never had an IPA there that wasn't excellent.

    Unfortunately,I don't think distribution is in the future. Bartender told me that he's got all he can do to keep up with demand, and he enjoys what he's doing. Also, some other brewpub owners in the area said they asked him about doing guest taps and he said he wasn't interested. One said he had some issues in the past sending kegs and it turned him off to the idea.

    Re being isolated, JAFB isn't as isolated as Hoof Hearted and everybody's raving about HH. JAFB has---what---24 taps or so all their own beers at any given time? Go figure.

    Only issue is our ABV limit, the day that changes we will be all set. Then we will get Firestone and Allagash.

    While the HHs brewery seems more remote, it's actually significantly closer to columbus than jafb is to either cleveland or columbus. This combined with their weekly cannings and new columbus brewpub gives HH a big advantage jafb doesn't have and doesn't sound like they'll be changing anytime soon.

    Good points.
    As long as JAFB can keep turning out great brews, I'll be OK with that.

    I will throw in Maumee Bay's Amarillo Brillo too. A very overlooked IPA

    Here is a pretty solid list I came up with without even including Fat Heads and Hoof Hearted. Throw some others out if you have them

    We had Allagash previously.

    And just saying, if the ABV changes AND Firestone comes to Ohio, I will literally, LITERALLY fistfight any and all of you to hoard as much Stickee Monkee as I can.

    I can't think of anyone bigger then those two breweries we are missing, maybe terrapin but other then that, we pretty much get everyone, especially with Boulevard entering our market last year.
