Lunch beer - “Vengance” DIPA by Anchorage Brewing Company:



Hazy deep gold with som clarity under mostly rocky white head; very good cap retention, heavy ring, some spots of lace. Citrus and spicy hops nose. Taste is orange and pineapple; no bitterness; firm malt base. Dry dusty feel from Chico yeast; medium light body, moderate minus carbonation; hop burn on tip of tongue. Another “hazy lite” from Anchorage that I like taste-wise, but not as much other beers from it…probably the Chico yeast…and the hop burn I can do without.
